# I don't know which bit is right for my horse. How do I choose?

Do you know the **funnel approach**? That's how we usually work to determine the most suitable bit. 

You need to be attentive to the **various signals** your horse might emit, which could help **determine his sensitivities**. Does he shake his head? Does he rest on his bit?
