# Why an item is out of stock?

When a product is marked as out of stock and cannot be added to your cart, it means we **no longer have any units available** and the supplier has not provided us with a reliable or reasonable restocking timeframe.

In such cases, we prefer to **temporarily suspend orders** for that item rather than risk disappointing you with excessively long delivery times.
