How do I measure my bit?

To find out your horse's bit size, use a tape measure. Measure only the length of the barrel, without the rings. For bits with loose rings, it's advisable to leave a margin of 0.5 to 1 cm on each side of your horse's mouth to avoid pinching at the corners.
